Spend the Weekend in San Diego, CA
Remember when San Diego was best known for Sea World? Wow, how times have changed.
There’s SO much to do in this beach city, you won’t want to miss the prime coffee shops, lunch spots, and social hour go to’s.

DAYTIME
Better Buzz Coffee.
You’ll want to go everyday! Try their breakfast sandwiches and matcha latte, probably the best one I’ve ever had.
Poke One N Half.
Poke by the beach? Yeah, you can’t go wrong. This spot is close to downtown tastes freshhh.
The Crack Shack.
Y’all, their biscuits are so freaking good. I would literally only go for biscuits (and maybe the smores cookie) and be satisfied. But if you’re actually looking for lunch try the senor croque -my favorite- and the downward dog -also a favorite-.
+PR Tip - the fire bird is SUPER spicy, I love spicy food but the flavor was just too overpowering.
Donut Bar.
Famous for their donut with a whole poptart inside... I highly recommend trying a different one of their specialities unless you can share this with your babes!
HAPPY HOUR
Punch Bowl Social Monday - Friday, 3-6pm
The Crack Shack Monday - Friday, 3-6pm
NIGHT OUT
If you’re looking for a night of cool spots with great drinks here’s the line up:
Start at Juneshine! If you have a car you can drive out to the ranch at [10051 Old Grove Rd, San Diego, CA 92131] or just go to their original bar at 3052 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92104, this one’s near gaslamp.
Once you’re done drinking hard kombucha -trust me you can never have enough *try the chili mango* - head over to 10 Barrel Brewing [1501 E St, San Diego, CA 92101] for the cheapest and honestly bomb ass flight of beers.
Next cross the street to Punch Bowl Social, this is a place you’ll really want to hang out so make sure you don’t go right at closing time. Here you can bowl, throw darts, play bocce ball, enjoy the old refurbished building, and have some dope cocktails. We tried two different ones and neither disappointed!
+PR tip: there are plenty of photo spots inside, bring a change of clothes.
BEACHIN’ IT
Mission Beach
The best one that’s the shortest drive from downtown and has some awesome things to do! There’s a delicious pizza spot on the main road, ice cream shop near Belmont Park, and if you go at night there are fire pits so don’t forget the smore’s stuff!
Carlsbad
Further away (35 miles from the Sheraton) but totally worth the drive if you have the time to visit Boards and Brews for lunch. While in Carlsbad you can spend the day at the Antique Mall, grab an ice cream cone at Handels, and a cocktail at Crackheads.
Places I haven’t been but the reviews are amazing & worth trying:
Pizza E Birra - honestly get anything for the main course but finish with the nutella pizza.
Crushed - get the PB BBQ sliders & cinnamon rolls
Homestyle Hawaiin - get the garlic shrimp, lava chicken, and a side of mac salad
Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill - get fish. Duh.
Keep Creepin’,
